Universe of the Time Lord: Doctor and the TARDIS// open Rp
He laughed and jump around starting the TARDIS. “No, you are completely sane. This can take us anywhere. Past, present, future. Any planet in the galaxy.” He said leaning on the console letting everything sink in.
Emily chuckled a bit herself. “Oh I don’t know about completely sane…” She mused, moving up to the console and standing next to the Doctor. “Prove it then,” She said simply. “Prove this thing is a time and space machine.”
He nodded and pulled a lever, then started to run around the console. The engines started to sound and the TARDIS started to shake a little. He started to laugh with happiness. The TARDIS sounded good which meant whatever had cause the crash was gone. “Where to? Past? Future? Random planet?”
Emily thought for a moment. “Past.” She said. She had always liked history. “Take me somewhere in the past, not too far in the past but far enough.” She said with a smirk. God this whole thing was just insane. But, she couldn’t help but love it.
He thought for a second and decided to take her to the the 80’s. “Well then Allons-y!” He exclaimed as he sailed the TARDIS. He landed and smiled “we are here. Not telling you where or when. Just look outside.” He pointed at the door smiling like a mad man.
Emily looked at the Doctor and then at the door, “Alright.” She said slowly approaching the door. When she got there she threw the doors open and her mouth feel agape. She could tell where she was just with one look at the people. “The 80’s.” She said smiling, “Oh my god I can’t believe this! How did you do this!?” She said turning around and grinning at the Doctor.
He couldn’t help but feel a little cocky abouy impressing her. He cleared his throat. “You did say not too far off and well this is close also well not a dangerous time period, at least not here.” He pulled her back inside and smiled, “If you really want something impressive just you wait.” Letting out a laugh he once again started up the TARDIS. Once he was sure where they were he walked up to his companion. “Now right out there is the galaxy of Netheron, new to the Universe won’t be discovered until the year 2155, right now it is bright and beautiful. Take a look.” He opened the door for her and stepped to the side letting her look out side, he kept a close eyes, making sure she didn’t float away.
Emily took a step forward, still inside the TARDIS, but closer to the door. Her eyes widened and she gasped. “Oh…oh my god…” She murmured. It was beautiful. No, more than beautiful. It was fantastic amazing just…brilliant. “This…this is amazing. Oh my god this is brilliant!” She said, giggling a bit. She looked at the galaxy for a few more moments and then at the Doctor, grinning. She moved forward and quickly hugged him. “Thank you!” She said happily, pulling back a bit and clearing her throat a bit awkwardly. “So…y-you do this all the time? Travel around and look at galaxies?”
His smiled grew when he saw that she liked it. “Everyday of my existance I do this. I see everything and everyone. It’s amazing and simply brilliant.” He told her. Not mentioning that it was also a lonely journey. “One thing is never boring”
“It must be amazing.” Emily said, sighing happily. “I bet you have fun, don’t you? Just…oh this is amazing.” She giggled a bit, “Sorry, just a bit excited and happy and amazed.”
Of course it was all wonderful he thought, of course until you get attached. The Doctor shook his head and kept smiling, “You have no idea, traveling never ending freedom. Of course the occasional bump in the road but nothing mayor.” He leaned against the TARDIS railing. “You have the right to feel amazing and in love with this as you want. I’m just happy you like it. Not that I’m surprised but many people respond a little more well sort of in shock.” He explained.
